Hats are items that are placed on your avatars head.[1] They can only be uploaded by site admins.
Heads are different shapes for your avatars head.
Faces are character items that replace the default face on your character with another if you are wearing one. They can only be uploaded by site admins.
T-Shirts are clothing items that place an image on the front of your character's Torso. They can be uploaded by anyone.

Shirts are clothing items that place an image folded into textures for the Torso, Left Arm and Right Arm.
Pants are clothing items that place an image folded into textures for the Left Leg and Right Leg of your character. They can be uploaded by anyone.
Gear items are tools (or weapons) that can be equipped on your character and can be used in-game. They can only be uploaded by site admins.
Decals are textures that can be used in a place on an object. They can be uploaded by anyone.
